Man Accused of Dealing Heroin in Smyrna

A Smyrna man is facing a long list of drug and gun charges after a state police investigation into heroin dealing in the area.

Police say they pulled over 21-year-old Tykeme Robinson on Friday and took him into custody. Then, police executed a search warrant at a hotel room, where they found 62 bags containing a total of more than a gram of heroin, along with a stolen semiautomatic handgun.

Police later searched a storage unit linked to Robinson, where they found four more guns and ammunition. The guns included a sawed-off shotgun, a rifle and two handguns.

Robinson is being held on $147,000 bond.
