Local Cyclist Bobby Lea Currently Ranks #9

There are two more events in the Men's Omnium on Sunday

Local cyclist Bobby Lea is currently ranked #9 in the Men's Omnium, the new Olympic multi-discipline event.

He finished 11th in Sunday morning's 4KM Individual Pursuit. Click here for a full replay of this event.

There are two more races to go on Sunday, the 15KM Scratch Race at 12:01 p.m. and the 1KM Time Trial at 1:16 p.m. You can watch both races live here.

Lea grew up in Topton, Pa. and currently resides in Mertztown, Pa. He began competitive cycling at the age of 4 and won his first national title at 13. This is his Olympic debut.

Right now, Glenn O'Shea of Australia is #1 with two races to go.
