Fire officials say lightning may have been the cause of a nursing home fire in Berks County.
It happened just after 7 p.m. at the Amity Manor on the 1100 block of Benjamin Franklin Highway in Amity Township. Investigators say the home was evacuated after the roof of the building caught fire.
Officials have not released information on any injuries. Firefighters continue to investigate.
