Light Mix of Snow & Rain to the South

The winter storm will miss most of our region though it will affect some parts of Delaware.

The winter storm that is blanketing many areas on the East Coast will miss most of our region.

The only part of our area that will see any snow is Delaware. Rain began to fall around 10 p.m. in the Northern part of the state. Light snow mixed with rain is expected to hit parts of Georgetown, Dover and Salisbury. Little accumulation is expected however as temperatures will remain five to ten degrees above freezing.

Overnight the mixture of rain and snow should move off the coast as the storm leaves.

The only place in our region that should have any accumulation is Sussex County which should see a coating of less than an inch on untreated surfaces.
