The county coroner said Barbara King of Holtwood was pronounced dead at about 6 a.m. Monday. She was rushed to Lancaster General Hospital shortly after the wreck Sunday night.

State police said a tractor-trailer driven by 51-year-old Levi Graham of Philadelphia struck the back of the horse and buggy on Lincoln Highway. Troopers said he wasn't injured.

King was thrown from the buggy and suffered multiple traumatic injuries. The horse also died.

Police said the buggy's driver, 23-year-old Stevie King Fisher of Christiana, was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
