Driver Hurt After Car, School Bus Collide

A driver is recovering after a school bus and a car collided in Washington Township, Gloucester County.

Officials say the bus was traveling on Hurffville Cross Keys Road near the intersection of Fries Mill Road around 5:50 p.m. when it collided with a car.

Investigators say the driver of the car suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Kennedy Memorial Hospital.

The driver of the school bus and the four students on board were not hurt and did not require medical treatment.

Hurffville Cross Keys was shut down as crews towed the bus from the scene. It was later reopened.

Officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
