Stray Bullet Leads Police to Drug Bust

A shooting left a man hospitalized and three people in a nearby car struck by a stray bullet in trouble with the law.

Gunfire rang out shortly after midnight Friday along the 3300 block of Kensington Avenue in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

A bullet struck a 33-year-old man in the knee. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Investigating officers went to check on three people inside a nearby parked car that was struck by a stray bullet.

Inside, police say they saw drugs and guns.

All three people in the car were arrested and face drug-related charges, according to police.
