Remnants of Tropical Storm Karen will give the Philadelphia region a soaking on Monday.
Karen hit the northern Gulf Coast over the weekend. Remnants of the storm will track northeast toward Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware leading to moderate to heavy rain on Monday.
The rain will begin to fall in the Philadelphia region at 3 p.m. on Monday and last until around 11 p.m. NBC10's Brittney Shipp says the heaviest rainfall will occur around 6 p.m. during the commute home from work.
Shipp says to expect 1 to 1.5 inches of rain, localized flooding and gusty winds.

The rain will also end the summer-like weather in our region and it will finally begin to feel like Fall. Temperatures will drop after the rain clears.
While it will reach 81 degrees on Monday, it will drop to 71 degrees on Tuesday, 69 degrees on Wednesday, 67 degrees on Thursday and 72 degrees on Friday.
