Snooki Pleads Not Guilty

Snooki's lawyer appeared in court on her behalf Wednesday.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s lawyer appeared in a New Jersey courtroom on her behalf Wednesday to enter a not guilty plea.

The “Jersey Shore” starlet was arrested in Seaside Heights last month and charged with disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance, just a day after the show's second season premiere, but was released a few hours later.

Prosecutors say the self-proclaimed “Princess of Poughkeepsie” will face an additional charge of annoying beach-goers.

The MTV reality show that focuses on “guidos and guidettes” in their 20s and their incessant partying is now airing its second season in Miami, with taping for the third already underway in Seaside.

Snooki’s trial will begin September 8.
