I-76, I-95 Lane Closures Begin

Several lanes on I-76 and I-95 will be closed for the next few days starting Saturday due to highway and bridge construction.

The following closures will take place at the following times:

Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. – A lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between Broad Street and Island Avenue in Philadelphia for an inspection of the southbound deck of the I-95 Girard Point Bridge

Nov. 3-4 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. – A lane closure will be in effect on I-76 W between Grays Ferry Avenue and South Street in Philadelphia for overhead bridge construction by CSX Railroad

Nov. 4-7 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. – The right lane of I-76 eastbound and I-76 westbound will be closed between 30th Street and South Street in Philadelphia for overhead painting and steel repairs

Nov. 4-7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – A lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between Island Avenue and Broad Street in Philadelphia for an inspection on the northbound deck of the I-95 Girard Point Bridge

November 4 from 9 a.m. to noon - The southbound right lane will be closed on I-95 between Route 413 and Route 132 in Bristol and Bensalem townships for graffiti removal

Nov. 5-7 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. – I-76 eastbound will have a lane closure between South Street and Grays Ferry Avenue in Philadelphia for overhead bridge construction by CSX Railroad

Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – A lane closure will be in place on I-95 southbound between Broad Street and Island Avenue in Philadelphia for an inspection on the southbound deck of the I-95 Girard Point Bridge
