"Confused and Discombobulated"
That’s how a Philadelphia Fire Lieutenant Don Burgess described the demeanor of Dr. Kermit Gosnell when firefighters responded to a 2009 emergency call at his West Philadelphia clinic. Burgess took the stand late Monday. Gosnell’s staffed dialed 911 after 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar became unresponsive during a procedure. Prosecutors say she was given a lethal dose of pain killers and anesthesia and Gosnell faces third-degree murder in her death. "Celebrating" Abortion Rights
