High-Level Drug Dealer Shot, Killed in Trenton

Police are investigating the shooting death of a high-level drug dealer in Trenton.

Police say 24-year-old Quaadir “Ace” Gurley was on the 100 block of Rossell Avenue around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday when a gunman opened fire. Gurley was struck several times and taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after.

Investigators say Gurley was the leader of a drug crew in Trenton and had been involved in several shootings prior to his death.

Police also responded to another shooting seven minutes later on Rossell Avenue in Trenton. Investigators say a 19-year-old was shot in the leg. Police are investigating whether the shooting is connected to Gurley’s death.

No arrests have been made. Police continue to search for suspects.
