Day 8 and still no relief. Thursday and Friday will reach the mid-90s and Saturday will be the hottest day at 100 degrees. But it will feel more like 109 with the heat index, says NBC10 Meteorologist Sheena Parveen.

Sunday is expected to mark Day 11 of the heat wave, and then temperatures will take a dip. That break comes Monday when temperatures will fall back into the 80s and stay that way through all the next week.
