A Cape May Court House woman is accused of stealing around $4700 from an elderly woman.
Samantha Cheety, 21, worked as a home health aide for 79-year-old Verna Norton. While working for Norton, Cheety allegedly gained access to her bank cards and bank account information.
Cheety then used the bankcards to take money from various ATM machines in Atlantic and Cape May counties over the course of two to three months, according to investigators.
Cheety was charged with various counts of theft and released on a summons.
