Attempted Luring Reported in Hatboro: Cops

Patch.com reports that a man in a van approached 4 girls

Upper Moreland Township Police say that a man tried to lure four girls into his white work van Monday night, according to Patch.com.

It happened around 7 p.m. Monday on the unit block of Edward Road near Blair Mill Road, Patch reports.

The girls, who are between ages 8 and 9, ran into a nearby home as the driver of the van, which had PVC pipes on the roof, drove off southbound on Blair Mill Road, reports Patch.

No details were given on the driver of the van except that he was a white male, according to Patch.

Children and parents in the area were being asked by police to remain vigilant.

Recent lurings have been reported in Upper Darby, Pa. And, another reported luring in Warminster over the weekend was later determined by police to be a prank.
