Police Raid Delaware Meth Lab, Find Guns & Drugs

Delaware State Police announced Thursday the arrest four people after a four-month investigation into a methamphetamine lab at a home in the Harrington area.

Police raided the Woodyard Road home Wednesday morning. Police say they found 29-year-old Joshua Wilson inside a detached garage and arrested him after a brief struggle.

Also arrested inside the garage were 30-year-old Colt Towers of Greenwood and 51-year-old Norman Meyer of Federalsburg. The homeowner, 40-year-old Thomas Vanvliet, was found inside the house.

Police say they found equipment used to manufacture meth and the ingredients used to make the drug. They also found a handgun, three rifles and various ammunition. Investigators also said that Towers had a 4-inch dagger on him at the time of his arrest.

Vanvliet is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and other offenses. The other three men face gun and drug charges.
