Argument Leads to Gas Station Shooting

Do you recognize this man?

An argument inside an A-Plus gas station store on the 3700 block of W Girard Avenue turned violent last week.

The whole incident was caught on tape.

On Dec. 15 a man dressed wearing a security guard uniform confronted a man causing a disturbance inside the store, according to Philadelphia Police.

After a short while the suspect, described as a medium complexion black male, 35 to 45 years old around 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, returned to the store carrying a gun and allegedly pointed it at the victim, cops said.

The victim turned to leave the store but was shot in the back of the neck before he could, police said.

The suspect then allegedly rifled through the victim’s pockets before fleeing in a green Chevy Venture minivan. He had a moustache and was wearing a blue Polo hat, blue hoodie, blue jeans and white sneakers, according to cops.

Anyone with information on the suspect should call Philadelphia Police at 215.686.TIPS (8477) or click here to submit a tip online.
