Gas is at an all time high this week. In fact, Philly hasn't seen prices so high since September of 2008.
The average retail price of a gallon of regular, self-service gas in Philly hit $3.66 a gallon overnight.
The price is up 9 cents in the past week and 17 cents in the past month.
The average price for a gallon of regular gas nationally has reached $3.69. This average is up 10 cents from last week and 19 cents in the past month.
The ever-climbing gas prices are the result of difficulty in international oil exporting and developments in Japan after the earthquake.
Gas prices are expected to top around $3.75 a gallon this spring and are expected to rise as the week goes on because of growing U.S. demand.
