Workers ruptured a natural gas line along the 1800 block of North 18th Street in North Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon.
Chopper 10 showed flames coming from the site minutes after the rupture. The fire was put out about five minutes later. There are no reports of any injuries.
PGW crews have been called to the scene.
