Funeral Services Held for New Jersey Firefighter

Funeral services have been held for a volunteer firefighter who died while battling a blaze last weekend in a Jersey shore town that's still rebuilding from Superstorm Sandy.

Dozens of mourners came out Saturday to honor Union Beach Fire Department member Robert Meyer.

The 54-year-old firefighter collapsed and died June 8 while battling a four-alarm fire at a commercial building. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but authorities have said it might have been sparked by an electrical problem.

Meyer had lost his own house in Sandy and had just moved into a rebuilt home a week before the fire occurred.

Gov. Chris Christie has ordered flags at the Statehouse to fly at half-staff until June 19 in Meyer's honor.
