Mourners will remember an off-duty New Jersey police officer killed in a wrong-way crash in New York that also left another man dead and two other officers seriously injured.
Three off-duty New Jersey police officers -- including Pedro Abad Jr., a member of the honor guard who remembered slain hero Philadelphia Police Ofc. Robert Wilson at his funeral -- drove the wrong way down a New York highway early Friday and crashed head-on into a tractor-trailer early Friday.
Services for Officer Frank Viggiano will take place in Linden Thursday followed by burial in Fairview.
The 28-year-old officer and Joseph Rodriguez died when the car they were riding in crashed head-on into a truck in Staten Island on Friday.
Abad, who was driving the car, and Patrik Kudlac, remain hospitalized.
Abad previously had his driver's license suspended for driving under the influence in March of 2013. Abad pleaded guilty to the offenses, and his license was suspended for eight months.
He was also involved in eight other car crashes over the last decade, dating back to when he was 17.

Rodriguez was laid to rest on Wednesday.
Authorities have said the four men were headed home after a night at a New York strip club. It's not clear if alcohol played a role in the crash.
