Friends and family celebrated the life of Elaine Goldberg during a benefit on Saturday.
The event took place at the Saint Martin of Tours Parish on Roosevelt Boulevard from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Goldberg, 21, of Holme Circle, was found strangled to death on Nov. 3 in a lot near the Ruth and Somerset streets in Kensington.
DNA evidence revealed that her killer, the so-called βKensington Strangler,β was also responsible for the strangulation deaths of Nicole Piacentini and Casey Mahoney.
Goldberg graduated from Little Flower High School and was a nursing student at Gwynedd-Mercy College in Montgomery County.
The event attendees enjoyed food, drinks and music while sharing their favorite memories of Elaine.
βIn my own mind, I think Elaineβs probably here loving every minute of this,β said Elaineβs father Joe Goldberg.
