Flood Watch Warning in Effect

Heavy rains fell overnight across the region and more rain is expected to fall through Sunday evening.

There have been a few embedded thunderstorms that prompted a few Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire area through late tonight. Flood Warnings are in effect for Delaware, Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery and Bucks counties until 9 p.m.

Despite the high amounts of rain, damage reports have been minimal - mainly localized flooding in poor drainage areas. There has been wind damage in the spots that saw the severe storms.

Rain and thunderstorms will continue through the overnight. Here are a few totals so far.

An upper area of low pressure is sitting in Ohio - spinning all this moisture in and it will take a couple days to clear the areas.

So keep those umbrellas handy through Tuesday.
