Flasher Busted at Del. State Park: Police

Police say a Nevada man exposed himself several times at a popular swimming spot in Sussex County.

A 54-year-old Nevada man is accused of exposing himself to children and adults at Delaware Seashore State Park.

James Gaske, of Henderson, was arrested at the park on Friday by undercover police officers, according to Delaware State Park Rangers.

Rangers were called to the Indian River Inlet South East Day Area bathhouse in Rehoboth on Aug. 29 and 31 and Sept. 4, to investigate reports that a man exposed himself. After each incident the man ran away but witnesses were able to provide a good description of him, according to investigators.

Rangers increased their patrols in the area and they recognized Gaske as their suspect on Friday, according to police.

Gaske is charged with four counts of first degree indecent exposure, two counts of sexual harassment by attempting to induce sexual contact, three counts of disorderly contact and a single count of second degree indecent exposure.

Gaske is in the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown in lieu of $6,000 secured bond.

Anyone with information about related incidents at the park is asked to call the State Parks Enforcement Section at 302-739-9221.
