There is a flash flood watch in effect from noon on Friday into early Friday evening, according to the national weather service.
Strong and slow moving thunderstorms this afternoon and evening can produce more than two inches of rain in less than an hour. Some spots can also see storm totals as high as four inches. The showers should end by Saturday morning.
The Flash Flood Watch is in effect for several counties, including the following:
· New Castle County
· Delaware County
· Gloucester County
· Camden County
· Ocean County
· Cumberland County
· Atlantic County
· Cape May County
· Southeastern Burlington County
· Chester County
· Montgomery County
· Bucks County
· Philadelphia
