Pop Up Thunderstorms, Flash Flood Warning for Parts of the Region

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for all of Delaware and parts of South Jersey until midnight Thursday.

Isolated storms are expected in Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware this afternoon.

The watch is for all of Delaware and parts of Atlantic, Salem, Cape May and Cumberland Counties.

Precipitation will be seen along the I-95 corridor and in the North and West suburbs this afternoon and evening, according to First Alert Weather meteorologist Bill Henley.

The Jersey Shore experienced precipitation earlier today and resulting in floodingn in Ocean City around lunchtime due to "training." First Alert Chief Meteorologist Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz described training as when showers travel over the same area over and over again.
