Two firefighters are recovering after they were injured fighting a fire in Mays Landing.
One firefighter from the Cologne department and the other from Mays Landing suffered leg injuries when they slipped on ice.
Cologne Fire Chief Shawn Vallauri tells The Press of Atlantic City the water was almost instantly freezing Sunday night.
Everyone inside the two-story home escaped safely.
The cause is under investigation.
