Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Apartment Building Blaze in West Chester

Firefighters responded to a massive apartment building fire in West Chester Thursday afternoon.

The blaze broke out in the Wyntre Brook apartments, located at 169 Wyntrebrook Drive, not far from Phoenixville Pike and Route 202, around 5:30 p.m., officials said.

Flames could be seen pouring from the building's roof as smoke billowed from the property.

Crews sounded the 2nd alarm once they arrived on the scene, according to reports.

The fire was brought under control at 6:10 p.m., officials said.

There were no reported injuries.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
