A fire burned on the roof of a home near 15th and Mount Vernon streets in Philadelphia’s Spring Garden neighborhood Monday afternoon.
More than one dozen firefighters could be seen dousing the flames after the fire broke out around 1:15 p.m. The firefighters stood on adjacent roof decks as flames continued to shoot through the roof until the fire was brought under control shortly before 2 p.m.
No reports of any injuries.
The cause of the blaze remained under investigation Monday.
