Fire Breaks Out at SW Philly Junkyard

Firefighters were called to the scene of a junkyard fire in Southwest Philadelphia.

The blaze began around 4 p.m. at a junkyard on 50th and Greys Avenue.

No injuries have been reported. The fire did not affect any traffic or nearby buildings in the area.

Firefighters were able to control the flames around 4:50 p.m.

Investigators have not yet revealed how the fire began.
