A fight on the street led to a shooting and crash outside of a club in the Northern Liberties section of the city, according to police.
Investigators say a fight broke out outside the Roxxy night club on the 900 block of North Delaware Avenue around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. At least two people then exchanged gunfire, according to police. Investigators say no one was struck or injured however.
Officials say a driver tried to flee the scene after the shooting but collided head on with another vehicle. No one was hurt in the crash. The driver, an unidentified man, was taken into custody for questioning.
Officials say five casings were found on the street after the shooting.
Police continue to investigate.
