Fear at NJ Apartment Complex After Attacks

Security stepped up as police search for suspect

Security is tight at a South Jersey apartment complex after a recent rash of assaults on older residents

The attacks began in December at the Heights of Collingswood.  Three senior citizens were mugged.  One was carjacked. Police are trying to figure out if a fourth incident is connected.  The chief says his officers are pulling out all the stops to put an end to the attacks.

“I even have guys that are coming in off duty and going over there, my hand to God, just to go over there and patrol” chief Richard Sarlo told NBC 10 News.

The apartment manager handed out fliers warning residents of the potential danger.
