Seven people were displaced by a fast-moving fire that severely damaged a central New Jersey home.
No injuries were reported in the blaze on Dekalb Avenue in Plainfield, which was reported around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say two residents were initially reported missing when emergency crews and firefighters arrived on scene, but they were soon located. The displaced residents — four adults and three children — were being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
