Family Reunited with Stolen Christmas Cards

A family was reunited with the Christmas cards stolen from their front porch thanks to a good Samaritan.

Victor Fiorillo discovered a discarded FedEx box filled with personalized holiday cards in the alley next to his Malvern Avenue home in Overbrook.

He and his family spent nearly a week trying to track down the family pictured.

He posted information to neighborhood message boards and Craigslist, but with only a zip code and first names Fiorillo struck out.

So he called NBC10 to help track down the family who had the box stolen from their doorstep.

And now the cards are back with their rightful owners.

"What a kind gesture," said Robert Henderson, upon meeting Fiorillo for the first time. "That is wonderful!"

The two families lived only a few homes away from each other.

"I can't believe you live right down the street," Fiorillo said. "Now we know another neighbor."

Henderson and his family appreciated the efforts of the Fiorillo family.

"The world is still kind," he said.
