A woman and a man are in the hospital after an accident in Falls Township, Bucks County.

The vehicle was traveling southbound on Lincoln Highway in Falls Township around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday when the male driver somehow lost control and struck a utility pole.

The impact caused the vehicle to flip over. A female passenger was ejected from the vehicle while the driver was trapped inside.

Responding fire crews were able to remove the driver. Both he and the woman were taken to the St. Mary Trauma Center. Officials have not yet revealed their conditions.

Lincoln Highway is currently shut down between Commerce Boulevard and Oxford Valley Road. Utility crews are working to replace the pole and fix downed wires.
