FBI Searches for Philly Serial Bank Robber

Investigators say the suspect robbed three banks and attempted to rob another since the beginning of February.

The FBI is searching for a serial bank robber in the Philadelphia area. Investigators say the suspect robbed three banks and attempted to rob another since the beginning of February.

The suspect allegedly tried to rob the TD Bank branch at 5501 Ridge Avenue in Philadelphia on February 14. Less than a half an hour later, investigators say he robbed the Sovereign Bank at 1 Belmont Avenue in Bala Cynwyd, Pa.

Police also believe the suspect robbed the TD Bank on 401 West Lancaster Avenue in Haverford on February 12 and the Citizens Bank on 121 East City Line Avenue on February 2.

The suspect is described as a medium built man in his late 20’s to mid 30’s, standing between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10 with a goatee. They also believe he wears dark-framed glasses.
