FBI Raids Local Buildings in Connection to Times Square Plot

FBI raided a Camden building and Cherry Hill home Thursday in connection to the Times Square bomb investigation

A series of FBI raids in the Northeast, including a printing press in Camden, N.J., took place early Thursday afternoon. The raids are in connection to the attempted bombing in Times Square, officials say.

Just after noon Thursday, FBI agents could be seen by Chopper 10 raiding the Prompt Printing Press at 956 Reeves Ave. in Camden.

Raids also occurred at a Cherry Hill home Thursday, sources say.

The bombing suspect, Faisal Shahzad, has been cooperating with investigators since he was arrested early last week.

According to the Justice Department, two people are already in custody after search warrants were issued in multiple locations in the Northeast, including a small house that has been cordoned off in Watertown, Mass. – a suburb of Boston.

Justice Department spokesman Dean Boyd says the two people in federal custody are being held on alleged immigration violations, but he would not provide more details.

Further details are emerging from the Philadelphia-area raids.
