Car Break-ins Along Route 73

More than $10,000 worth of items taken from cars parked near NJ restaurants, police say

Some diners at restaurants along Route 73 in Evesham Township recently returned to their cars to find something missing -- mostly the belongings inside their cars.

More than $10,000 worth of valuables including electronic equipment, jewelry and tools were stolen from at least 15 cars parked in lots outside local restaurants, according to the Evesham Township Police.

Cars were broken into at the following locations, according to police:

  • Champp’s Americana/Spaghetti House, 101 South Route 73 in Marlton Crossings
  • Fleming’s Steakhouse/Bonefish Grill, 500 North Route 73
  • Redstone Grill, 500 South Route 73
  • Outback Steakhouse/Carrabba’s, 903 South Route 73

The alleged thieves have forced their way into the cars by smashing windows or by “punching” the door lock.

A white van (pictured above) is being sought in relation to these crimes, cops said.
