An elderly woman was hit by a car Friday morning in the Northeast section of the city.
Police say the woman was hit on Cottman and Tabor Avenues just after 7 a.m.
She was transported to Aria-Torresdale Hospital.
No word on her condition or on the circumstances surrounding the accident, although police do confirm the accident was not a hit and run.
