The death of an elderly man who fell off a tractor that was pulling a brush mower in Pennsylvania has been ruled an accident.
The Westmoreland County coroner's office said after an autopsy Wednesday that 71-year-old Anders Johnson of Salem Township died of blunt force trauma.
Investigators said Johnson was found at the scene shortly before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and pronounced dead after a deputy coroner arrived about an hour later.
Johnson was formerly an elected supervisor of the township about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh.
He was reportedly mowing a neighbor's property when he was killed.
The coroner's office toxicology results should take several weeks to come back.
This death comes just days after another western Pennsylvania man died while using a tractor to collect firewood in Rockland Township.
