Elderly Delco Man Carjacked Outside Church

Lansdowne police are looking for two men they say used a gun to carjack an elderly man outside of his church just before 9 a.m. on Sunday, reports the Delaware County Daily Times.

The 70-year-old victim tells police that when he walked outside of the Buddhist Congregational Church on Nyack Avenue to grab something from his car, he was approached by two men, one of them toting a gun, and was forced to hand over his money, cell and the keys to his Nissan Murano, according to the Daily Times.

The paper reports that the suspects fled in the victim’s SUV, which hasn’t been seen since. The car is silver with Pa. tag FRN2474.

Police are looking for dark-skinned black males between 18 and 25.

Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
