Assumed Eagles Fan Robs Delco Bank: Police

The man wanted for robbing a Havertown bank on Wednesday was sporting Eagles gear.

Police are looking for the man they say robbed a Havertown bank Wednesday...and like most Philadelphians, it appears the man was an Eagles fan.

Authorities say the man they are looking for was wearing Eagles gloves and an Eagles hat when he walked into the Alliance Bank on Township Line and demanded money around 3:45 p.m., according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

The paper reports
that the supect went to the counter and handed the teller a note indicating that he was armed and looking for cash.

He fled on foot towards Brentwood Road with nearly $700, according to the Times.

The suspect is described as a white male between 50 and 60 years old with black and grey hair.
