An intoxicated driver trying to make a U-turn in an SUV struck a Philadelphia Police car in North Philadelphia early Saturday, according to Philadelphia Police.
The accident happened just before 4:30 a.m. at Broad Street and Montgomery Avenue.
The officer was taken to Temple University Hospital and is being treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV is charged with driving under the influence.
