Drexel Student Disappears

Stevens Glemaud, 18, was reported missing by his parents after they came to pick him up at the end of school and couldn't find him anywhere

Update: Police say Glemaud was found dead in the Schuylkill River. Death ruled suicide.

A Drexel student has disappeared.

Stevens Glemaud, 18, was reported missing by his parents after they came to pick him up at the end of school and couldn't find him anywhere.

Glemaud was last seen leaving his dorm early Saturday morning.

The school put out a statement today saying Philadelphia police are working with scyhool police as well as police in Glemaud's hometown of West Orange, New Jersey. The statement goes on to say:

"Our utmost concern is for Glemaud's safety and we are working closely with Southwest Detectives and other authorities to see that he is returned home safely."

Glemaud's sister told NBC10 that the security camera at her brother's dorm shows a shot of him in North Hall at about 6:15 a.m. on Saturday.

The sister tells us Stevens may have been stressed out about his school work. She said when the family spoke to his friend, no one knew where he'd gone. Glemaud's sister said to just disappear -- that type of behavior -- is very unlike her brother.

Philadelphia police tell us they do not suspect foul play.
