Double Shooting Victim Dies



    Philadelphia Police are investigating a double shooting late Thursday night in the Frankford section of Philadelphia in which one victim has died. (Published Friday, July 4, 2014)

    One of the victims in a double shooting in Philadelphia has died.

    Around 11:40 p.m. last night, two men were shot in the Frankford section of Philadelphia around Akron and Bridge Street.

    One victim, 25, was shot in the shoulder and chest was taken by private automobile to Temple hospital where he later died.

    The second victim, also 25, was shot in the leg. He is now in stable condition at Temple Hospital.

    Security footage shows one of the victims on crutches trying to hobble away from the scene for help.

    No arrests have been made.
