NJ Detective Accused of Sexcapades

A Jersey Shore detective is accused of abusing his position to have sex with women he came into contact with, while working.

Detective Steven Hadley works for the Egg Harbor City Police Department.

The acting prosecutor for Atlantic County, James P. McClain, said that while Hadley was performing his official duties, he took part in "sexual acts" with four different women on various occasions.

The alleged sexcapades went on for three-and-a-half years, according to McClain.

Hadley, 31, is from Port Republic.

He is charged with four counts of official misconduct.

Hadley was in a bad car accident on the same day he was charged.

He is hospitalized in critical condition, according to a press release from the prosecutor's office.

If found guilty, Hadley could face up to 10 years in prison for each count and up to $150,000 in fines.
