Delmarva Power Restoring Electricity After Storm

About 4,200 customers remained without power Saturday

Delmarva Power says approximately 16,000 customers in New Castle County, Del., and Cecil County, Md., lost electricity in the wake of Friday's severe thunderstorms.

As of 3:30 p.m. Saturday about 4,200 customers remained without power.

Delmarva Power Region President Gary Stockbridge said in a statement that the utility's goal is to have the majority of customers back in service by late Saturday. Stockbridge said some small pockets of outages might not be cleared up until sometime Sunday afternoon.
