A teenager was struck by a freight train in Darby Borough Wednesday night.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. near the sixth and main streets.
The 14-year-old boy was trying to cross the train tracks while the crossing bar was down, according to authorities.
The teen was taken to a local hospital where he is currently recovering. His injuries are reportedly non-life-threatening.
