A Felton man has been charged with his sixth drunken-driving offense after state police say he crashed his pickup truck.
Police say 51-year-old Vincent Ware ran his pickup off the left side of Turkey Point Road on Saturday around 7:40 p.m. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was treated at a hospital for minor injuries and then released.
After leaving the hospital, Ware was taken into police custody where he was charged with his sixth DUI, failing to have insurance identification in possession, careless driving and failing to wear a seatbelt. He was committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $10,003 cash bail.
