Wildlife officials say more than 2,000 trout have been stocked in White Clay Creek.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control said Friday that mostly brown and rainbow trout, and a few brook and tiger trout were stocked through the creek. White Clay Creek runs from near Pennsylvania to Newark.
Officials remind fishers that the daily possession limit is six trout per person. In or within 50 feet of the designated fly-fishing-only section, the daily possession limit is four trout.
For most anglers, a Delaware fishing license is required.
